Who We Are

JMAC has produced integrated building and maintenance works across mining, infrastructure & residential, for over two decades.

By combining full-service construction requirements performed by skilled industry professionals, JMAC continues to set the benchmark in ground-up building agility & capabilities.

Guiding our teams of trades and skilled workers, our core personnel oversee our projects every step of the way.

1998

JMAC secures its first contract with Leightons (CIMIC) to fit out the Peel Health Campus - contract value $300,000.

Less than 2 months later, JMAC secured a second contract with Leightons. The 100 km Salt Water pipeline project covered works from coastal Australind in Perth to Collie, WA - contract Value $400,000.

2000

Thiess awards JMAC the highly sought after contract for all concrete and form-work for the 12 bridges of Perth’s new South Freeway Link - contract value $1,800,000.

2002

JMAC wins contracts on Roe Highway bridges and noise-wall construction/ installation. With more than 20 km of noise wall and installation of pre-cast panels to bridge components -contract value of $1.2m.

2004 - 2010

During this period JMACs focus was placed on over 50 residential housing renovations and multiple apartment developments throughout WA.

During the six years, the projects consisted of single story houses @ $80k per house and 3 unit, single story developments @$900k per set.

2010 - 2015

Further apartment developments undertaken: Single story renovations valued @ $100k each, and 3 unit sites contacted @$900k per.

Large sheds including fit-outs: complete specialised shed in Perth region with contract from 250k to 500k including workshops and equestrian use

First 400-acre subdivision. A 6-million-dollar subdivision in the Perth hills; subdivided into 50 acre lots plus 2 km road works.

This large project included:

  • Fire management plans
  • Environment plans,
  • Plant and wildlife studies,
  • Power & Telstra services.
2017

Operation is moved to Goldfields in Western Australia after winning contracts with Pit N Portal Mining Services to supply workshops, concrete works and general building and maintenance.

2018 - 2020

Work commences at Minjar Gold Mine. JMAC is engaged for a wide scope of works at the Marvel Loch & Nevoria sites.

This large project included:

  • Exploration (construct new core shed and office fit-out (value$450k)
  • Set up for Jacaletti underground mining workshops ($520k)
  • New magazine area set up ($50k)  
  • Camp maintenance as required ($100k to date)  
  • New fire shed ($35k)  
  • Refurbish on-site buildings $350k  
  • Small sheds and various works (sewer connection, mains electrical/ maintenance in the mill)  

Site and building maintenance continues on all Marvel Loch camps and residential properties.

2020 - 2022

JMAC Civil continued to be contracted out to Norton Gold Fields, Barto Gold & additional Kalgoorlie companies. 

The new works included:

  • The construction of an office complex on the Norton Gold Fields (Tuart Site) 
  • Construction of an underground vent wall in the gold fields ($2mil)
  • Construction of office building and work shops at Cassini site for Mincor (valued at $1.5mil) 
  • Electrical compounds and various site works for Hahn Electrical
  • Explosive magazines installed on sites around the Gold Fields.
  • Supply and hire out underground dewatering units commenced in Marvel Loch and Kalgoorlie.
2022 -

Wide range of operations in full swing including camp construction for Lithco in Bald Hill worth $1mil.

The supply and install of shotcrete continued while developing into our own product, Mcrete.

Whilst winning various underground contracts in the WA Gold Fields and Marvel Loch sites, construction and surface services continue on many sites. JMAC continues to branch north to include Barminco’s, Garden Well site & Karara.

Case Studies

Liatam Mining Camp

JMAC Civil designed and constructed a 200-man expansion to Liatam Mining's camp in Australia. The project increased capacity by 200%, adhering to 'quiet hours' restrictions.

Minjar Core Shed

The Minjar Gold project involved constructing a new Core Shed, increasing production capacity by 300%, with no safety incidents, completed on time and budget.
